|Christy L. Phillips
Head of Equity Strategies and Director of Research for the Firm, previously Christy was a principal and portfolio manager for RS Investments, LLC, where she led the investment team for the Core Growth Equity Strategy. Prior to joining RS Investments, she held a variety of positions including Portfolio Manager, Director of Research, Investment Committee Member and Principal of Oak Value Capital Management Inc., which was acquired by RS Investments, LLC in September, 2010. Ms. Phillips has 26 years of investment professional experience including a long tenure as a Senior Analyst focusing on equity analysis at various sell-side firms including; Coker Palmer Phillips & Mullen (Principal) ; Smith Barney Inc., Smith Barney Shearson, Lehman Brothers, and Shearson Lehman Hutton in New York. Ms. Phillips received a BS from The University of Tennessee in 1986.
|Robert C. Eubanks, Jr., Director
Founder and Chairman of Franklin Street Partners. Previously, Bob was Co-Founder and President of McMillion Eubanks Capital Management in Greensboro. He has more than 40 years of experience as an investment professional. Bob’s community activities include serving as the former Chairman of the Educational Foundation Investment Trust and as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Investment Committee. He also serves on the Board of The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences. He was elected twice to serve as Chairman of the UNC Board of Trustees and has also served as Chairman of the UNC Endowment Fund, President of UNC Alumni Association, President of the Educational Foundation and Vice-Chair for the All Kinds of Minds Foundation. Bob is an alumnus of UNC-Chapel Hill.
|Dennis C. Greenway, II, CFA
Dennis is a Senior Portfolio Manager on the FSP Equity Team. Prior to joining FSP in 2015, he developed extensive investment experience in research and portfolio management positions with Belltower Advisors, Proxima Alfa Investments, PENN Capital Management, and Wachovia Securities. Dennis holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 and an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2006.
|Mary S. Robbins
Mary is a Senior Portfolio Manager on the FSP Equity Team. She brings 10 years of investment industry experience to her role at Franklin Street Partners that encompasses security research, equity portfolio management, and trading. Previously, Mary held the position of Equity Analyst with the RS Investments Core Growth Team, and also served as an Equity Analyst and Trader with Valor Capital Management. Most recently, Mary expanded her client facing capabilities as a Banker with J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. Mary received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007.
|Joshua C. Turner
Josh is an Associate Equity Analyst. Prior to joining FSP in 2016, he worked at UBS Financial Services, Inc. as a financial advisor specializing in corporate retirement accounts and high net worth solutions. Josh received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Trust & Wealth Management from Campbell University in 2014.
|Barbara W. Lynch
Barbara is the primary Equity Trader for Franklin Street Partners. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Barbara was a Trust Officer and Relationship Manager at Wachovia Bank for 16 years where she worked with Institutional Accounts. Barbara graduated with honors from Forsyth Technical College with a degree in Business.
Fixed Income Investment Team
|M. Rex Teaney II
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Rex was a Senior Vice President – Group Executive with Wachovia Corporation in Winston-Salem. He has over 35 years of experience as a fixed income specialist. Rex is a former member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board in Washington, D.C., and a former Director of the Public Securities Association in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia.
|William (Bill) B. Thompson
Bill is President of the Firm and Chairman of the Investment Committee that is responsible for the firm’s view on client asset allocation and portfolio investment strategy. Prior to joining Franklin Street in 1995, he was President and Co-Founder of Peacock-Thompson Investment Management and formerly an executive with Carolina Securities Corporation. He received an MBA degree from The Darden School at the University of Virginia in 1982 and a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1978. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of ACM Financial Trust, Inc., the North Carolina Veterinary Foundation, Inc. and the North Carolina Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association. Bill is responsible for the management of the firm’s fixed income strategies.
|Tia M. Simser
Tia is the Bond Trader in our Fixed Income Department. She joined Franklin Street in 1999 after working at Bounds Asset Management. Tia is responsible for the analysis and selection of bonds, as well as many other operational duties. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
|Craig A. Sullivan, CFA, CAIA®
Craig is the Director of Fixed Income and External Managers at Franklin Street Partners. In his role, Craig is responsible for the portfolio management of the firm’s internally managed core, opportunistic credit and preferred securities strategies. Craig also oversees the external manager program for both equity and fixed income managers and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Franklin Street Partners in 2012, he spent six years working as a portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch in the Global Private Client Group. Craig is a graduate of North Carolina State University and holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designations.
Global Manager Research Investment Team
|Susan T. Kaderabek, CFA
Susan is a Portfolio Manager with Franklin Street Partners. She joined the firm in 1993 after receiving her MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Susan received her CFA designation in 1996. Prior to joining Franklin Street, she worked as a mortgage-backed securities specialist in the tax department of Bear Stearns & Company in New York. She received her CPA designation in 1987 and held tax-related positions at both Arthur Andersen & Co. in New Jersey and McGladrey & Pullen in Greensboro, North Carolina. Susan received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Rutgers University.
